Buses

The closest bus stop from Fourth Avenue Residences is the one at Sixth Ave Ctr (Stop ID: 42011), which is approximately a minute walk away. From there, there are a total of 15 bus routes that can take you to your destinations. Let’s take a look at a few of them.

Bus 66 stops by King Albert Park, Pei Hwa Presby Primary School, and opposite Bukit View Secondary School. It also gets you to opposite the Singapore Science Centre before stopping at Jurong East temporary interchange.

Bus 74 bound for Buona Vista Terminal drops by schools like Ngee Ann Polytechnic, SIM HQ, and Fairfield Methodist Primary School. Take from the opposite direction (Stop ID: 41081) if you want to hop on the same bus to Coronation Plaza, The Japanese Association, and MacRitchie Reservoir.

For bus 151, you can get to Yale-NUS College and NUS Faculty of Architect. Take from the opposite direction if you want to drop by Raffles Town Club, Catholic Junior College, and Hougang Central interchange.

2. Grocery, shopping and services

Beauty World Centre

Grocery

Apart from its close vicinity to the train stations and bus stops, Royalgreen is also extremely close to the grocery store. You can take a short 3-minute walk to Cold Storage at Guthrie House.

If you prefer to shop at FairPrice, drive for about 4 minutes to the FairPrice Finest located within Bukit Timah Plaza. Drive a little further for about 7 minutes if you want to get your weekly groceries at Giant Supermarket in Beauty World Centre. Other options include German Market Place, which is a 7-minute car ride from the condominium.

Shopping

Shopping malls within the same neighbourhood of Royalgreen include – Coronation Shopping Plaza, King’s Arcade Shopping Centre, KAP Mall, Bukit Timah Plaza, Bukit Timah Shopping Centre, and Beauty World Plaza.

But for a wide range of shops, we recommend that you take a drive to the Jurong East area. Jurong East is about a 10- to 15-minute drive from the property and has shopping malls situated very close to each other – Jcube, JEM, Westgate, and IMM.

JEM, Westgate, and IMM shopping malls are interlinked with sheltered walkways so you can park your vehicle at any one mall and walk your way to either or all of the malls.

JEM has fashion stores like Benjamin Barker, Dorothy Perkins, MANGO, and Uniqlo. While Westgate has Bata, Bonia, Calvin Klein Jeans, and Pandora. Looking for more options? Walk over conveniently via the overhead bridge linking Ng Teng Fong General Hospital from Westgate to get to IMM.

Services

You can run some errands with the shopping mall options closer to home. For example, Bukit Timah Shopping Centre has ExcelPrint Photocopy & Printing located within the building for your printing needs. There’s also an OCBC Bank branch at level one. Or if you’re a customer of Standard Chartered, there is a Priority Banking Centre along Bukit Timah Road, right beside Guthrie House.

But if you’re planning to shop and get some errands done at the same time, we highly recommend you to go to one of the malls at Jurong East. IMM has a money changer, a floral shop, and laundry shop. Singapore Pools is located at level two of the mall.

3. Food options

Lorong Kilat

Need to settle a quick lunch or take away some food from the coffee shop? You’re just steps away from Kopitown at 10E Sixth Avenue. The area surrounding the coffee shop also has options like Brazil Churrasco, Lazy Lizard Sixth Ave, and Indian Curry House.

There are also several options just a 3-minute walk away – The Living Cafe and Caruso (Italian restaurant) along Bukit Timah Road. Craving for pasta? It’s available at Pasta Fresca Da Salvatore (Bukit Timah) in Guthrie House.

We also recommend that you take a 10-minute drive from Royalgreen to the eateries like Al-Azhar Restaurant, G7 Sinma Claypot, and Lao Jiang Superior Soup along Cheong Chin Nam Road.

Domino’s Pizza and Korean restaurants such as Three Meals A Day and Oven & Fried Chicken are just around the corner, along Chun Tin Road. If you’re driving, you can park your car along Cheong Chin Nam Road. But it gets quite packed in the evenings so we recommend parking at Jalan Seh Chuan Car Park instead.

To soak in the weekend cafe vibes, Lorong Kilat has it all. Revelry, The Signature Patisserie, and Carpenter & Cook are highly rated by the public so give it a try. You can also have your ice cream fix at Udders Ice Cream (Lorong Kilat). Prefer to cook some Korean cuisines yourself? Get your ingredients from Koryo Mart, at 17 Lorong Kilat.
